They picnicked in the park before viewing “Curious George: The Golden Meatball.” Third-grade gifted students learned about kinetic and potential energies by designing and creating their own roller coasters. The students presented their creations to parents and classmates. The Panthers wowed us once again with their performances in our spring play, “The Princeton Time Machine.” Students took the audience back in time starting with the 1920s, when Princeton first opened. They showcased and performed hits from each decade up to the present time. Archived pictures from the past were also chronicled. Special thanks to Mrs. Litteral for all her hard work to produce this amazing show! We are so proud of all the hard work our Odyssey of the Mind teams have put in this year. Four teams competed in the county regional tournament held at Edgewater February 25. Three of the four teams placed, and two teams are advancing to the state finals. Good job, Panthers! It’s not every day your school turns 90. We celebrated this milestone with a huge birthday party, including food trucks, a bounce house, a DJ and, of course, birthday cake for all! A big thanks to our sponsors for this event: Corkcicle, Publix, Ace Hardware, Centro Real Estate Group, College Park Neighborhood Association, College Park Community Paper, the Cason family, the Evangelo family, the Huels family, the Hunter family, the Lopez-Torres family, the McComb family, the Miller family, the Ravndal family, the Roy family, the Stringer family, the Stuart family, the Tanner family, the Sindler family and Sheila Young. We are so grateful for your support!! The members of the National Junior Honor Society and their families participated in the Walk for Wishes to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Panther Pride! Princeton celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday with a cake decorating contest. The students voted for their favorite cake, and the winners enjoyed a special treat. Congratulations to Mrs. Schneider’s second-grade class. The Princeton Panthers participated in Jump Rope for Heart this month. Together, we raised $3,536 for the American Heart Association!
